I can’t believe that another year is over, I feel like if anything I spent a lot of time chasing my tail as it were. Having said that there have been a few things I have been proud of and of course some phenomenal books.
So without any further ado here are some of the best bits of everywhere and nowhere.

Favourite Posts
This year has been very heavily focussed on writing, a lot of flash fiction to be precise so I’ll just pick a few of my favourites.
From the writespiration challenge, to write 52 words exactly about the given prompt
Where’s a black hole when you need one
This years A to Z challenge was flash fiction of no more than 100 words
I also posted An unlikely meeting, a longer piece that I had written for a writing course which was scary but good to share.
Also, I suppose I should mention the grand unveiling where I re-introduced myself.

Favourite books of 2017
It was difficult but I have narrowed it down to my top 10 books that I have read in the past year.
I also completed my Goodreads challenge and read 64 books, when my goal was 60, not sure what I’ll set for this year but hopefully, I can do better.

Goals for 2018
So I didn’t really set myself any concrete goals last year but this year I want to set myself something more actionable.
Produce more original content – last year I was fairly guilty for relying on blog tour content especially when I got busy, whilst I still enjoy reading and posting these posts I’m going to try and cut down on how many I do.
Read more blogs – this really slipped this year, I just didn’t have as much time to visit other people, but that is part of the fun of doing this so this year I need to step up my game.
Finish a work in progress – I’ve been starting and stopping stories all of last year, this year I need to commit to finishing one, so hopefully, by December 2018, I’ll have done just that.

Hope you all had a great 2017 and here’s to an even better 2018!!

I’m so happy to see 13 Minutes on a list like this! The author is coming to Belgium / the Netherlands in April so I’m planning on buying and reading her book before then. 😀
