This months question is: Whose perspective do you like to write from best, the hero (protagonist) or the villain (antagonist)? And why?
I don’t feel like I’ve got enough written to judge what I like best, if I am writing then I am usually writing from the protagonist point of view, however, I think I would like to explore writing more from the antagonist, I think it would be fun.
On a completely separate note, I’ve had a lot of fun with some flash fiction and its been good to get back into the swing of writing so much so that I have started putting pen to paper for something a little longer. Something that I had cast aside previously but have now had the urge to take up with again, it’s early stages but I’m feeling pretty good about it.
I hope you all are getting along well with your writing.

Everyone’s. And at the same time. The hero is sometimes best when they are their own greatest antagonist, and likewise villain their own hero. All is context after all. And the more they intertwine, the deeper the story can go.

Good to hear that you are getting back into writing 🙂 I think FF helps I just always struggle to find the time for Friday Fictioners, because by the time i’ve thought about doing it, its either friday or the weekend!

I’ve just signed up to be notified about that one, hopefully I’ll manage to squeeze it in 😊

I’ve never tried flash fiction. That might be a good exercise for me, as my manuscripts always need major trimming. Happy writing in March.

It has definitely helped me get back into the swing of writing and does help with trying to cut things down 🙂

I have to agree with your assessment that writing from protagonist is easier/more common, although they can be ‘flawed’. And thanks for mentioning ‘flash fiction’. I may have to try that.
