everywhere in April

I had a very good reading month, a mixed bag between arcs, books and audiobooks and of course genres but I think that works for me and even though writing the reviews is still a bit of a struggle I managed in the end. I am pretty happy that I am only one book behind schedule on my Goodreads challenge and that I seem to have found a rhythm that works for me now in terms of blogging, which is something I have been grappling with for a while. Anyway here is what I managed to read this month…

The Sound at the End | Kirsty Logan

A very good production but not quite my cup of tea.

Rizzio | Denise Mina

Brilliantly written short and sharp snapshot of a pretty gruesome moment in Scottish history.

The Sweetest Oblivion | Danielle Lori

A forbidden romance and enemies-to-lovers mix that was perfect for some escapism.

The Storyteller | Dave Grohl

A brilliant memoir from an incredible talent, definitely recommend as an audiobook.

Four Aunties and a Wedding | Jesse Sutanto

A fun book but not quite as good as its predecessor.

Slay | Brittney Morris

I loved this! Amazing concepts, amazing characters, totally hooked from start to finish.

Coming up…

Hoping to keep the good reading months and looking forward to getting to these books soon…
