everywhere in August

Well this month I managed a few more reviews than I thought I would so that’s a positive, I also did better than I thought I would in my 20 books of summer challenge but I’ll get into that in a separate post. I actually had some pretty great reads this month because I was good at picking books to suit my mood so this is what I read during August…

Love On The Island | Jessica Gilmore

An enjoyable read and great for some easy-going escapism, that will have you wanting to jet off to the Med.

Reputation | Lex Croucher

A fun regency romcom with plenty drama, there were lots of high-stakes moments and bad behaviour but it was very enjoyable.

Love To Hate You | Camilla Isley

An easy and uplifting read, that will make you laugh and that you can easily lose yourself in for a day.

Really Good Actually | Monica Heisey

This is laugh-out-loud funny, it is a fresh take on a well-known topic which is quite refreshing.

The Dead Romantics | Ashley Poston

Thisย is a very unique book, it has so many wonderful elements that have created an emotional and joyful story.

Happy Place | Emily Henry

Exceeded my expectations, it takes some well-loved tropes and delivers them perfectly.

As well as all of those wonderful books read I also hosted a cover reveal for Clues To You by Claire Huston.

Coming Up…

I hope I can keep up this good reading spell and that the writing of reviews gets easier, I hope you have a good reading month.
