20 books of summer 2025

My favourite reading challenge is back and with new hosts, after ten years Cathy at 746 Books has handed the reigns over to Annabel at AnnaBookBel and Emma at Words and Peace, I would like to say thanks to Cathy for starting this fun challenge and I’m so glad that it is continuing on. There are also some snazzy new logos and a bingo card if you need inspiration for the challenge however the goal remains the same.

The aim is to read twenty books between 1st of June and the 31st of August, although you could change this to ten or fifteen books too if that feels more manageable. The great thing is that you can choose what books you read and you can stick to your list or you can change things up as you go, which is what I usually do.

Since I have been a little behind on my reading and reviewing recently I’m hoping this challenge will kickstart me for the summer months. For the last few years I have started with a ten book TBR and then just seen where the summer takes me, this year though I am shrinking that to five just to keep the pressure off. So some of the contenders for this year are…

I’m hoping I can get through most of these on my upcoming holiday and then anything more is a bonus. If you’re taking part which books are you reading?
