everywhere in September

It’s been a busy month which is probably why it feels like it I’ve blinked and its disappeared. Managed a few good books but as I had some things to read for BBNYA I didn’t get as much read as I would have liked…that I can talk about at least. Kicked off the month with a recap of my summer reading challenge and I did much better than the goal I set for myself too, I also did another Top 5 Wednesday all about summer food. I had a couple of great books this month and one not so much…

The Seven Year Slip | Ashley Poston

An amazing romance with a fantastical element and characters with great chemistry.

Orbital | Samantha Harvey

Some beautiful sentences lost in a sea of endless description, a bit forgettable.

The Whispering Night | Susan Dennard

A great conclusion to the series, full of action but also ties everything up.

I also hosted a cover reveal for Janice Frost’s latest book, Murder on the River.

Coming up…

Got some good reads coming up, hoping I have more time to read them than I have this month.

Happy reading
