I did start reading Be Our Ghost but as I’ve been busy I knew I wouldn’t finish it before the tour, however I thought I would give some first impression thoughts on what I have read so far.

I’m really enjoying the rivalry between the hotels and that it sparked this investigation into whether The Duchess has any ghosts in it’s past. It’s such a fun premise for a book, I’m not really one for paranormal reality shows, but I quite like that the hotel are trying to delve into their past to help their future.

Well I say the hotel, really it’s just Charlie and Knox who are strong-armed into it. I love that Charlie is throwing herself into the project, even though she’s very out of her comfort zone, to be closer to Knox. I’m excited to see the burgeoning relationship and I’m very interested to see how Knox’s past will come back to haunt him as the story progresses, especially because it’s already being held over his head a little.

Be Our Ghost has been good fun so far and I’m very much looking forward to hearing more about the possible haunting at The Duchess and seeing how long it takes Knox to lose his reserved nature and open up to Charlie.
