Jealousy

There she was. It had only been a few months but Lily still looked amazing.

Callie felt like she had been dragged through a few thousand hedges backwards, how could she look so ok?

She supposed that Natalie was the cause, even though Lily had assured her they were “just friends”. The way they were looking at each other and unconsciously touching each other, it was sickening to watch but also impossible not to be transfixed.

A two-year relationship that ended with “we’re just going in different directions”.

Callie could quite clearly see what the different direction was now.
