It was always just out of reach. If they’d put it a little closer to the edge I could just nip up and get it before anyone noticed.
Well I hoped. There’d be big trouble if they saw. I’d get no hugs and I’d have to go and look all sorry on my bed instead of getting on the sofa, I much prefer the sofa.
I thought favourite human would give me a little as they always say “it’s mouth-watering” and they notice when my mouth does start to water but they didn’t share.
I think I can make it…

I have a Labrador that believes he’s still a little puppy and can get away with it, he never does 🙂
