20 books of summer 2023

My favourite reading challenge is back once again!! I have been doing this for a while now and it is my favourite because it is so very chill. In case you haven’t heard of this challenge before here are the details…

It’s really simple, it’s hosted by Cathy over at 746 Books and the aim is to read twenty books between 1st of June and the 1st of September, although you could change this to ten or fifteen books too if that feels more manageable. The great thing is that you can choose what books you read and you can stick to your list or you can change things up halfway through, which is what I usually do.

So I seem to change my approach to this challenge every year and this year I am changing things up again, I’ve had some difficulty with reading this year so I am going to take a very relaxed approach. I’ve got ten books that I would like to read but I’m just going to take it as it comes and hope that I can do better than ten, I’m not even going to pretend like I will stick to the list I have planned which would make a small dent in my Netgalley backlog, but I will at least start out with that intention. So here is my list of the books that I would like to read for the challenge…

I’ve chosen some books that look perfect for summer reading and nothing too heavy so hopefully I will get through them all. Are you taking part in this years challenge?
