Top 5 Wednesday | Book Audit

This topic feels very well timed, I am joining in with Top 5 Wednesday again and this week the topic is…book audit…

for this week choose the Top 5 Books on your to be read list which you want to read before the end of the year. Who knows, maybe we will all find a new book which we want to read on each other’s lists!

Since I am about to go on holiday and have been struggling to decide which books to take with me I thought I would use this weeks topic to have a proper think about it and narrow down the choices. I’m not going to lie this has been a hard one but here are the five books that are now at the top of my TBR pile…

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries | Heather Fawcett

I bought this in October of last year and I’m now dying to get to it, it sounds enchanting and perfect for a summer read.

The Seven Year Slip | Ashley Poston

I have been so excited to pick up another book by this author after reading The Dead Romantics last year and even though I momentarily forgot that I had it I remember thinking when I bought it that I would save it for a holiday read.

The Ballad of Never After | Stephanie Garber

This is another book that I have been so keen to reading after finishing the first in the series and another one that I forgot I had, so I’m glad I found it and can add it to my holiday TBR.

A Court of Thorns and Roses | Sarah J. Maas

I actually only got this book at Christmas but I have of course heard all the hype so it had been on my radar for some time, looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.

The Situationship | Taylor-Dior Rumble

This book was part of my book advent calendar haul from Christmas 2023 and this seems like the perfect time to dive into it.

I’m looking forward to seeing other people’s lists so that I can get further inspiration, does anyone have any easy holiday reading recommendations?
