everywhere in October

I can’t believe that time is moving as quickly as it is, I know we all say it but I really feel it this month, I have been busy in life and busy here in my online space. The BBNYA spotlight tour has kicked off so I’ve been highlighting some of the semi-finalists, as well as some other features and I managed to read five books too. It was a good mix this month and all good books…

Arcana Academy | Elise Kova

Loved this, slow burn romance, amazing magic system, lots of action and intrigue.

The Agency for Scandal | Laura Wood

Amazing book, I loved the female detective agency and their capers, fantastic characters and some romance too.

Three Fires | Denise Mina

An interesting dive into a part of history I didn’t really know about.

A Dawn of Onyx | Kate Golden

I was hooked into this fantasy romance from the start, with magic, mystery, and romance, it was fantastic.

A Season for Scandal | Laura Wood

Another amazing addition to the series, a very different case to the first book but every bit as good.

I also hosted the following books as part of the BBNYA spotlight tours, Worth It, Trollgrave, The Unity Experiment, The Strange Grey Everything, The Pandora’s Box, The Fated, and The Cold Blade of Fear. As well as a spotlight with some first impressions for Be Our Ghost and an excerpt from Abracadabra.

Coming up…

Well I am still trying to make my way through Katabasis but I have some great books on the horizon, I hope you do too.

Happy reading
