everywhere in December

The last monthly round up of 2025, it’s always a bit hit or miss because it’s always such a busy month, but I think I got on ok, I managed to squeeze in some fantastic books before the end of the year and had some cool features too…

Small Things Like These | Claire Keegan

A short book that packs a punch, with so much power in so few words.

Binti | Nnedi Okorafor

Another short story, this time a sci-fi adventure with a standout main character.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo | Taylor Jenkins Reid

Loved this book, Evelyn is a captivating character, I didn’t want her story to end.

And Then There Were None | Agatha Christie

A classic mystery that was gripping and unexpected in the best way.

I also hosted the following books as part of the BBNYA spotlight tours, Even If We’re Broken, Dark Bloom, Card Snake, Another Kind of Thing, and A Lonely Broadcast.

Coming Up…

Am I still half way through a good couple of books that I was reading last year…yes…am I still optimistic that I’ll get to these as well…yes (maybe ridiculously so). These sound like some good reads to start the year with, and I hope that you find some good reads to kick of 2026 with.

Happy Reading!
