So, your book is being published!
Woo hoo!!
How do you spend publication day eve and the actual day? What do you do the night before?
I’ll probably spend the night before biting my nails!
The morning?
As it’s a weekday I will probably be walking my dog Monty followed by a coffee stop.
Who are you with?
Monty. If my daughters have finished their exams (GCSEs and first year uni) they might come too. If my husband Mike’s on a late shift he will probably come too.
Where do you go?
Windsor Great Park
What do you spend the day doing?
I will be having an online launch event – there will be info about the book and excerpts and prizes to be won but mostly it’s a chance for me to thank people for their support. The main interactive event is in the evening (Do join us – https://Facebook.com/Emmathelittlebookworm) but I’ll be checking in throughout the day, sharing posts, posting the odd video and I will draw the winners of my pre-order giveaway.
Is publication day one the same as publication day two? And so on?
This is my first publication day so I don’t have a comparison (yet!) The day after publication day will be spent looking at the giveaways from the launch and selecting the winners. I will be going out in the evening for a meal and a few Proseccos to celebrate.
Do you have any rituals?
I’m still new to this so it’s a bit early to have established any rituals but it would be lovely to get to that stage one day!
