Cocktails and Dreams Tag

As I was perusing my reader on Monday I came across this tag on Elles Belles Notebook, it is a tag inspired by the book Cocktails and Dreams by A.L. Michael. So I decided that I had to do it because there is a blog tour for the book over the next two weeks and I’m hosting a spot, plus I love a cocktail. Martini: means business! If you could have any job what would it be?

Well if I could have a job that involved getting to travel to exotic places to write a novel then that is what I would choose, I’m not sure that is a real job though but a girl can dream.

Mojito: time to let your hair down! What’s your idea of a great night out?

Actually my idea of a great night out starts as a great night in, with my other half cooking a delicious meal for me and a bunch of our friends, some of his homemade cocktails, and then we would all head out somewhere for a dance or to listen to some live music, whatever takes our fancy.

Pina Colada: the famous drink or the famous karaoke song! What’s your belt-out karaoke tune?

I don’t have one, I’m not really a fan of getting up for karaoke, I prefer to watch, but if someone sticks some Disney songs on then you will definitely catch me singing along.

Bloody Mary: the notorious hangover-curing drink. What’s your go-to hangover cure?

Irn – Bru, every time, and then depending on how settled my stomach feels usually a breakfast including bacon, sausages, toast and occasionally avocado.

Manhattan: a true New York drink! Which city do you dream of visiting?

A tough one as there are still so many places on my bucket list but I’m going to have to say Reykjavik is the one I have been thinking about most recently.

Long Island Ice Tea: quite a mix of ingredients! What are your three favourite foods or drinks?

Gosh a very difficult one slow cooked short beef ribs for fancy, mac and cheese for comfort and any kind of sweet thing as a guitly pleasure.

Drinks wise love an Elderflower Collins, Prosecco or Irn – Bru.
