Down the TBR hole #12

Another month, another cut down, although I still seem to be adding more than I’m getting rid of.

For any of you that haven’t heard of it before it was created by Lia @ Lost In A Story and this is the concept…

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!

It works like this:

• Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
• Order on ascending date added.
• Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
• Read the synopses of the books
• Decide: keep it or should it go?

I think I added this because of its Night Circus comparison but actually from reading reviews it sounds like this book is nothing like it…GOING

I quite like the blurb for this but have seen some reviews that mention a few things I find really off-putting in books…GOING

Another ‘guilty pleasure’ type book, wasn’t too sure when I saw the cover but the Sons of Anarchy mention in the blurb sold it…STAYING

It sounds pretty funny and has lots of good reviews…STAYING

Oh this one sounds really good, I love a YA mystery…STAYING

This one has lots of good reviews, it sounds pretty gritty which has me swaying but…STAYING

On second reading of the blurb I’m not sure that this one is for me…GOING

Another one that on second reading of the blurb and because it doesn’t say much I’m not sure it’s for me…GOING

This is another ‘guilty pleasure type’ read, I didn’t realise how many I had on here, lots to choose from next time…STAYING

The blurb did sound quite good with this one but then I saw a review that mentioned horror and thats a no from me…GOING
