Mary was not the type of person who had much luck. The day that changed was wet and windy and a colleague offered her a lift home to save her getting soaked at the bus stop.
The next day she found the money she saved from the bus fare in her purse, so she got a lottery ticket. She couldn’t believe it when her numbers won.
Now she couldn’t help but giggle to herself, even though she was now a zillionaire and everything came that bit easier, it couldn’t help her with her current quandary…chocolate or cake?

As part of the AtoZ challenge I am writing flash fiction of no more than 100 words. Today’s prompt was…
Zillionaire
You can catch up with my other entries for this year’s A to Z here.

A suitably happy way to end the challenge – if only we were this lucky! A great effort all month, congratulations. Look forward to reading more from your blog in the future 🙂
