everywhere in April

It’s been a strange month and I kind of had a little bit of a reviewing slump which made it hard to read, but then thankfully I seemed to get my groove back and had some pretty great books to get me through plus a lot of content which I was glad for.

I am a little behind on my Goodreads challenge and I keep being naughty and requesting or buying more books so my TBR seems to keep increasing but it just means that I will have a lot of good books to be reading. I didn’t manage any books towards my Popsugar Reading Challenge because of all the new books distracting me but hopefully next month that will change. These are the books I managed this month…

The Shadow in the Glass | JJA Harwood

This was a book I had a lot of opinions on, good at some points but also had some issues that spoiled my enjoyment.

Kate in Waiting | Becky Albertalli

Brilliant exploration of crushes and friendships, lots of nostalgia for me and a lot of fun.

Malice | Heather Walter

Amazing retelling with a fascinating and morally grey main character and a romance that I enjoyed unfolding.

Dial A for Aunties | Jesse Q. Sutanto

A very fun read with loveable characters that find themselves in an outrageous situation, hilarious and gripping.

I also hosted some great content for these booksโ€ฆ

Guest posts on the tours for The Hoax, Strictly On Ice, Willow Weeps, The Hashtag Killer, Blood Loss, Photographed in the Writerโ€™s Room, Duchess If You Dare, The Knightโ€™s Runaway Maiden and Starting Out.

Excerpts for Corfu Capers and To The Fair Land.

A spotlight for Karolina Dalca, Dark Eyes and a cover reveal for Between You and Me.

Some great reading this month, hopefully I can keep up the streak of good books and get some time to read them.
