everywhere in December

Well I had some grand plans to do a lot of reading in December and then a mix of later working hours and the run up to Christmas meant that I just didn’t have time to fit it in, thankfully I have read the amount of books I challenged myself to this year, and the good thing is I still have some good wintery books to look forward to in the new year.

I will keep this short and sweet because as I say I didn’t read too much this month but also because my yearly round up is coming up and that will have a lot more in it.

Bonfire | Krysten Ritter

A mystery that didn’t really know what it wanted to be and was a little slow for such a short book.

Return of the Magi | P.J. Tracey

A Christmas story that didn’t quite hit the mark for me, a short but fairly slow story.

I would usually post the books that I’m hoping to read in the next month but I think I’m going to give myself a break from that this month and just see what happens in January. I hope everyone is having a lovely festive season and a good new year celebration when it comes and happy reading. of course.
