Turns out that my laziness in writing reviews continued from June into July and even though I have enjoyed reading lots of lovely books I’m struggling to find the words, so I’m not sure where I am with my reading challenges because of this but as always I’m not too bothered. Although I’m determined to try and do well with my 20 books of summer because I did so well last year but we’ll see how the next month plays out, for now though this is what I read during July…
A Midnight Kiss on Ever After Street | Jaimie Admans
An uplifting and hopeful romance, with parallels to Cinderella, perfect escapism that always leaves me with a smile.

The Final Gambit | Jennifer Lynn Barnes
A little darker and more outlandish of the series, still good fun and full of puzzles and secrets.

The Break-Up Clause | Naimh Hargan
A fantastic take on enemies-to-lovers, light-hearted and dramatic, with some unpredictable moments.

I also took a delve into my reading of the last six months in my mid year check in, as well as two cover reveals A Holiday Romance in Ferry Lane Market by Nicola May and The Bridesmaid’s Brother by Olivia Lockhart.

Coming up…

Happy reading!!

Oh are you getting ready for The Brothers Hawthorne? I’m not really sure what it’s about but I ended up preordering it. I was surprised it got another book. Also, love you’re coming up books. The covers are so bright and summery. I am loving it. They scream summer. I can’t decide which cover of Happy Place I like. Both are so bright and fun.

I am, I also have no idea what itโll be about but Iโm excited to get to read about the characters again. Iโm kind of hoping that itโs a very different storyline though. I know thatโs the one good thing about summer reads they are happy colourful covers โบ๏ธ
