Well I didn’t do too well in April at all, I kind of dropped off the face of the earth and then just haven’t quite got my spark back at all over May but I did manage a few books. I feel like every time I mention things getting better or that I might be less busy it doesn’t happen so I’m just going to say I hope I can show up more for the next month and find my spark again. I have been managing some reading though which I’m pleased about because I do love stories, so here is what I read in May…
Wolf.e | Paisley Hope
A great bit of escapism in a book, great chemistry, nice romance that’s occasionally on the darker side.
The Whisperer in White | Y.R. Liu
Loved this book, fantasy but with a real focus on character relationship, highly recommended.
The Garden | Tomi Champion-Adeyemi
A mysterious short story that asks a lot of questions but doesn’t give as many answers.
