20 books of summer 2024

It’s back!! My favourite reading challenge, it’s been running for ten years and this is actually the sixth year that I have taken part, with varying degrees of success but it is such a nice chilled reading challenge and I enjoy taking part.

If you’ve not heard of this challenge before then…it’s hosted by Cathy over at 746 Books and the aim is to read twenty books between 1st of June and the 1st of September, although you could change this to ten or fifteen books too if that feels more manageable. The great thing is that you can choose what books you read and you can stick to your list or you can change things up halfway through, which is what I usually do.

My approach for this year is very similar to last year I am going to aim for ten books but hope that I can manage more, although I’ll celebrate if I can manage ten. I am not always great at sticking to my planned list of books but this year I would maybe like to try and read more of the books that I have picked as my TBR today, some of which have made it into past year’s TBR’s so I am hoping I will now eventually get around to them. Hopefully this is a nice enough mix that I can make my way through them and try and stick as closely to this TBR as possible, but I won’t feel bad if I don’t. Are you taking part in this years challenge?
