everywhere in November

Oh my goodness we’re moving into the last month in the year and it feels kind of surreal to be nearly at the end, but before I let that take over too much here is what I read this month and the features I hosted…

Be Our Ghost | Carla Luna

A spooky romance with wonderful characters and sizzling chemistry.

A Game of Scandal | Laura Wood

Another fantastic addition to this series, a brilliant story with higher stakes, I was gripped.

My Sister, the Serial Killer | Oyinkan Braithwaite

An amazing and unexpected slow burn thriller, packs a punch.

The Restaurant of Lost Recipes | Hisashi Kashiwai

Loved getting back to the Kamogawa diner, a lovely cozy collection of stories.

I also hosted the following books as part of the BBNYA spotlight tours, The Ballad of Sprikit The Bard, Shadow of Old Town, River in the Galaxy, Mary and Bright, Lost Blades, Heart of Dust, and From Ashes. As well as an excerpt from Ripples Through Time.

Coming up…

I’m still (!!) making my way through Katabasis but I have some other great books on the horizon too. Let’s hope that I can get a few books under my belt for the end of the year.

Happy reading
