The jingle bell tag

I saw this over on The Bookie Monsters (it was created by Richard over at The Humpo Show) and decided since we are getting ever closer to Christmas that it might get me in the spirit!!

“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?

There are lots of books that I would like to see under my tree this year but the one that is on the top of the list is…

wolf-trial

The Wolf Trial by Neil Mackay

“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?

This is quite a toss up, because there are three really good contenders, however I really think because it came along at the right point in time for me that it has to be…

paris

Paris Mon Amour by Isabel Costello

“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has the most festive look to it?

Ok so this was quite hard, I wanted to choose a book that wasn’t an obvious Christmas book, so because the colour reminds me of ice and it has a sort of reindeer look about it (if you squint a little) I decided upon…

raven-king

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?

I did loads of activity and colouring books as a kid so considering I got it as a gift recently I’ll nominate…

colour

The Enchanted Forest by Johanna Basford

The Grinch | Your favourite villain…

Goodness this is hard, although I haven’t read it in a while so my memories of this villian may be making it better than it actually is but I remember always thinking that Valentine from The Mortal Instruments series to be pretty suave.

cityof-bones

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

The Holiday | Name your favourite TWO couples…

This is hard because when reading a book I don’t really think “oh these are definitely amongst my favourite couples” and I can’t really give an answer as to why I like the pairs that I have chosen. My first couple are Sonea and Akkarin from The Black Magician Trilogy and my second couple are King and Mia from The King Trilogy (even though I still haven’t finished the last book).

What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?

Something not quite expected…

cocktail

Speakeasy by Benny Roff

Because I love a good cocktail on a special occasion!!

Well that’s it, if you fancy getting into the Christmas spirit then you should give this one a shot.
