So as you may have noticed I’m doing the A to Z challenge and I’m writing some flash fiction of no more than 100 words. In case any of you are up to the challenge of trying it out yourself I thought I would throw up the prompts in advance, you can either use the word or phrase in the 100 words or to inspire them. Hey Raven. Two years ago I did this with picture prompts and a sentence supplied by friends. I really enjoyed the daily creativity. This year I am laying out the characters, setting and plot of a new historical fiction novel I will write during NaNoWriMo in November.
The Steel Horse Saviors is a story about three civil war veterans who head west in 1866 with their Steam Locomotive to seek their fortune. They encounter a beautiful redhead trying desperately to save her family business.
