A month into 2022 and even though I took a bit of an extended holiday for the first couple of weeks I still managed to have a really good reading month. Of course I had to start off the year with a look at the year before and what my new goals for this year would be in my post everywhere in 2021. So here’s a round up of what I read this month…
Jade Fire Gold | June CL Tan
A brilliant YA fantasy debut full of magic and mystery with some great world-building.

The Upper World | Femi Fadugba
Another amazing debut, a YA sci-fi with elements of time travel and a gripping atmosphere.

Angel’s Cage | Anna Zaires
Book two of a romance duology, not exactly what I expected but fairly entertaining.

A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder | Holly Jackson
An absolutely brilliant YA mystery that had me hooked start to finish.

The Kiss Thief | L.J. Shen
An intense and dramatic romance with some sizzling chemistry.

Windswept & Interesting | Billy Connolly
A wonderful autobiography full of warmth, humour, nostalgia, and some great chapter titles.

Coming up…
I’m usually terrible at sticking to any sort of reading plan but I think you’ll maybe see my thoughts on these books in the next month.
