This months question is: Of all the genres you read and write, which is your favourite to write in and why?
I’m not sure how to answer this question because all I’ve been writing recently is very short flash fiction. I really wish I was good at fantasy writing but sometimes I feel myself getting a bit lost in descriptions, actually that could be said of any writing at the minute.
I’ve been finding it hard to concentrate on much of anything because I’ve been so busy and too tired when I do eventually have the time, so I’m giving myself a little bit of a break to try and re-centre and hopefully I’ll get back into writing something a little longer.

It’s tough to write when you’re tired or busy. I feel that way all the time because my job is so physically exhausting. It’s definitely ok to take a break. Hopefully the writing will be even easier once you come back from it!

I hope so, to be honest, it can only really get better since it’s not at a great place at the minute 😂

Have you thought about just writing a set amount of words a day and see where that takes you say 150 or something? Then if you feel inspired then go for it if not then at least you can stop at that magic number

That is probably a really good way to approach it, means there’s a little less pressure and then I won’t feel like I’ve not written anything at all. I’ll try and give it a shot 😊
