Well it has been a bumper month for reviews around here, the joys of a relaxing holiday, thank goodness because the dreaded plague caught up with me this month and reading wasn’t quite so easy. I have done very well on my 20 books of summer challenge but I’ll update more on that soon and I am from the first time this year ahead on my Goodreads challenge. A YA fantasy with a remote setting, magic, secrets, scheming and two sides set on war.

We Were Liars | E. Lockhart
A weird YA book, didn’t seem to go anywhere for 60% of the book then really got me emotional.
