20 books of summer 2022 results

I changed my tactics last year for this challenge by only picking ten books and seeing what would happen and then this year I stuck to the same tactics but just upped the amount of books. One of my goals was to read 15 books for this challenge and…I did it!!!! The other goal was to try and make a dent in my Netgalley backlog and I failed miserably at that, but that is maybe something to work toward for next year.

This year I read 20 books!!!!! Woohoo I actually completed the challenge which is great, especially because they were mostly all crammed into a two week period, in the best way of course.

From my original list for this challenge…

…I only read 2 books, which is just typical for me, they were…

The Setup by Lizzy Dent

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

however I also ended up reading…

Mrs Death Misses Death by Salena Godden

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

One Last Secret by Adele Parks

Our Crooked Hearts by Melissa Albert

Book Lovers by Emily Henry

Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron

The Idea of You by Robinne Lee

10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston

The Switch by Beth O’Leary

Witches Steeped In Gold by Ciannon Smart

The Love Square by Laura Jane Williams

Daisy On The Outer Line by Ross Sayers

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean

How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie

Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo

This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede

With Fire In Their Blood by Kat Delacorte

I hope if you took part you got on well with your challenge and I’m looking forward to next year, to see if I can claim another victory and maybe work toward my backlog goal or just stick to the TBR that I create as an extra challenge.
