everywhere in January

Well this month has been a whirlwind but I actually got a fair few books read and I’m hoping this will set my tone for the year. I am on track for my reading goals so far which is a good way to start the year, long may it continue.

To start the month I took a look back at what happened last year with my round up everywhere in 2022, I then took part in the book blitz for The Stolen Heir, and then introduced my latest attempt at tackling my TBR with the RWDC reading challenge post, and I managed to complete all the prompts for this month. Here are the great books that I read…

Gallant | V.E. Schwab

A slow burn, intriguing and atmospheric fantasy with amazing writing and a fantastic premise.

The Inheritance Games | Jennifer Lynn Barnes

A re-read of this amazing YA mystery with a clever plot full of secrets and riddles.

The Hawthorne Legacy | Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Amazing continuation of the series fun and fascinating with higher stakes and lots of tension.

6 Times We Almost Kissed (And One Time We Did) | Tess Sharpe

Beautifully crafted YA romance, heartbreaking and mesmerising in equal measure, highly recommended.

Going Dark | Melissa de la Cruz

Thrilling YA mystery that I didn’t want to put down, manages to be surprising and predictable but in a good way.

Coming up…

I hope your reading is going well this month.
