The dreaded block

I was so energized and had loads of ideas, a well formed plan and fingers ready to type up everything that was popping into my head. However I seem to have got to 4,000 words and got stuck. The thing is the story is there, it’s playing out in my mind like a little movie, the characters are mostly formed and the plot is mapped out, I just can’t get the words down.   I knew that this was a possibility but I thought I would get a little further along in the story before I had a block. So with my NaNoWriMo page telling me that if I don’t get a move on I will finish in April 2017, I had a little look to see what other people suggested for overcoming such troubles.
