A is for…Agnes Obel

I love Agnes Obel’s music, I find it beautiful and haunting and there is always a song to reflect my state of mind. It really relaxes me because of that. The video is the song Aventine, it is from her second album of the same name. What I love about her albums is that it feels like she really focuses on the arrangement of the music; she has interludes of songs that are just her playing the piano; and the lyrics that she does use, though sometimes simplistic, really complement that. I was going to use a video for Chord Left but decided that really you should hear her voice as well, to get the full experience.
