Have you ever heard someone say that when you leave a room your toys all come to life, but even if you’re sneaky and try to catch them, as soon as you go back in they manage to get back in place and stop moving? Well this same type of thing is happening with my notebooks, except they are not moving they are breeding! I have no idea how this is happening…none at all…I’m not saying a thing.
I am aparently a sucker for a pretty cover, in an A4 or A5 size, preferably with lines but with dots is fine also. I’d better stop, this is beginning to sound like a wanted ad. I don’t know why I am so drawn to them, and how I always find the pennies to spare to get another even if I have lots at home.
The amount of unused notebooks I have is actually quite scary…
This is just a small sample, all empty. I think I need to start filling them, I’m not sure entirely what they will come to hold but I might challenge myself to try and write something in at least one by the end of the year.
Especially since at this rate I’ll need to find a new room in my house just to keep them.

*laughs* I have the same obsession with notebooks and pens. I have way more than I will ever need or write in/with. Like you, perhaps they are begging to be filled. Good luck with filling yours!
Many Blessings,

You can never have too many notebooks – you never know when you might need one, and to have the perfect thing to hand is always great π

Oh, dear, I have this problem – I buy them, they make my mouth ager – so pregnant with possibility, i need a book to write in , I go to the drawer – and well, they are all too good for notes and scribbles, so us a jotter instead. ~Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com

Ah, your collection makes me feel a little less guilty about mine. π I have a dedicated poetry notebook, and I’ve had to establish the rule that I can’t buy another until that one is filled. @abetterjulie from http://www.persephoneknits.blogspot.com

I feel like maybe I should establish such a rule π

I can’t believe I missed this post during the challenge. I wrote about notebooks too. Definitely a writers affliction, loving notebooks and collecting them!

Haha it’s an easy thing to do since there are so many posts! I know I need to go get some coloured paper for a project and I’m kind of dreading it because I know I’ll end up leaving with a new notebook as well, it’s definitely a compulsion of sorts!! π

My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I always like to treat myself to a new notebook to add to the shelf.
