“Harry, what does this mean…LOL?”
“Wait I know this one, something to do with laughing, lots of laughing maybe?”
“I suppose that makes sense, thanks.”
“Who is it this time?”
“My granddaughter, Lottie, it takes me ages to find the message and then twice as long to understand what she’s said. I would just phone but mysteriously she always misses my calls, even though her phone is glued to her.”
“Quite a common problem I’ve heard.”
“Goodness she types so fast, here’s another…any clues for OMG totes emosh?”
“No, I’ve reached my limit, that’s all greek to me.”

As part of the AtoZ challenge I am writing flash fiction of no more than 100 words. Today’s prompt was…
All greek to me
You can find out more about my challenge here and see the rest of my A to Z entries here.
Feel free to join in if you like and leave to your entries in the comments.

Hahaha! I’ve had conversations like that with people before and I’m only in my early 30s. Sometimes I with people would just write in whole words!

I know I can usually work most things out but there have been occasions where I wish I had a teenage interpreter to make it easier 🙂
