everywhere in September

A bit more chilled out around here last month, still not quite back to full strength and not able to concentrate on reading the same as before, but still making a dent in my Goodreads challenge and still trying to figure out which days are going to work better for me posting wise to strike a good balance.

To start this month I posted my results of the 20 books of summer challenge which I rocked but as ever didn’t stick to my TBR, I also got to share an exciting first chapter look from the next Ashley Poston book The Dead Romantics, which sounds pretty fun. Then there are the books that I got to read this month…

The It Girl | Ruth Ware

An easy going crime mystery that kept me guessing the whole time.

Autumn | Ali Smith

A beautiful exploration of friendship and life set in a time of political unrest.

Codename Villanelle | Luke Jennings

The source material for Killing Eve and not quite what I expected.

The Enigma Of Room 622 | Joël Dicker

A very interesting and unexpected mystery, a little confusing but entertaining.

Coming up…

I hope you’ve had a happy reading month!
