Top 5 Wednesday

I haven’t joined in on a top 5 Wednesday in a long time, I don’t know what made me check back in but I saw this topic and I knew I wanted to do it. This weeks topic is:

Fictional Places You’d Take a Date To

There are so many good places that I could pull out for this one, cutting it to five will take some doing but I’ll try…

Red London | From the Shades of Magic series by V.E Schwab

a darker shade of magic

So I’ve only read the first book of the series but I would so be up for visiting Red London, with its red hue, royalty, magic, and markets. I think it would be an amazing place to explore.

Hinterland | From The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert

hazel wood

So I know that the Hinterland is a place of dark fairytales but I think as long as me and my date could hide out and watch them unfold without being targeted then it would be kind of fun, or maybe I’m just weird.

Xenith | From The Xenith Trilogy by Chani Lynn Feener

————————–amid starsFrost

I would love to explore this alien world, I’d definitely try and see some of the race that features in the first book but maybe stay away from any political chat, don’t want to be caught up in any fighting.

Alatis | From The Spinner Sagas by K.J Moullen

Ttelling

I mean there is a forest, meadows, a unicorn(!!), an impressive palace, and you can only get in if you are pure of heart. I’m not sure I’d make it but I’d love to try.

Edelweiss Island | From The Little Wedding Island by Jaimie Admans

the little wedding island

An island wholly set up for weddings! I love weddings, haven’t had one myself yet and to be honest it would probably be very full on for a date, they might run the other way screaming. But I’d love looking at outfits and testing cakes and maybe crash any wedding that would be going on because I love a dance.

What fictional places would you take your date to?

If you fancy joining in then be sure to check out the Goodreads group.
